2018: Volunteer vs Eight & Sand
Delaware's Volunteer Brewing goes up against New Jersey's Eight & Sand in a battle of brews to win this round of the #OdessaBrewfest.
Volunteer Brewing Co. opened its doors in August of 2017, becoming the first brewery in Middletown, Delaware. The brewery was named “Volunteer” as a reflection of the organization’s commitment to stay involved in the local community, in addition to serving craft brewed beers that is. Customers and staff are focused on volunteer opportunities that contribute to improving the town and helping to maintain the small community feel that is core to Middletown’s history.
Eight & Sand
Founded by two buddies from South Jersey, Eight & Sand Beer Co. is fully devoted to quality craft beer brewed with patience, brewed with love, and brewed with local community in mind. Their styles of beer incorporate the old European styles with the new American ingredients.
