Tröegs
Tröegs Independent Brewing was founded in 1996 by brothers John and Chris Trogner. The first keg was sold to a local restaurant in Harrisburg on July 18, 1997. Tröegs is a family nickname, from the founders' surname Trogner. When combined with a Flemish word “Kroeg,” meaning "pub," we get Tröegs.
