Victory Brewing has been drawing ever-closer to Delaware, opening a brewpub in Kennett Square. Victory, founded in 1996, is popular for a reason, with legendary beers like Hop Devil, Golden Monkey and Summer Love ale gracing taps and beer shops around the Delaware Valley.

Back when Victory's founders were still in school, a pub in Baltimore, Sisson’s, started experimenting with making its own beer. The year was 1984, and brew pubs were not even legal yet in Maryland. From these roots eventually sprang Heavy Seas beer, now well-known for beers like Powder Monkey pale ale and Loose Cannon IPA.
