2015: Rogue vs Sierra Nevada

We've got some heavy hitters going head to head today! The Rogue brewery hails from Newport, Ore., traditionally a gritty port town suitable to Rogue's rascally image ("citizens of Rogue Nation... have full power to levy war against the status quo!"). Rogue makes a wide range of beers, incuding the famous Dead Guy Ale, American Amber, and its Morimoto series in partnership with Philly's well-known celebrity chef. 

Sierra Nevada really needs no introduction. One of the oldest craft breweries (founded in 1979), Sierra Nevada has only gotten better with age and is ranked #6 on Zymurgy magazine's list of best breweries in America. Sierra Nevada is best-known for its award-winning Pale Ale, Torpedo Extra IPA and Celebration winter seasonal ale.
