Today we feature two breweries that call Delaware home—but before you hop in your car for a quick beer-tasting trip, you might be surprised to learn that Twin Lakes and 3rd Wave breweries are actually nowhere near each other. While Delaware may be a small fry, Twin Lakes, located in Greenville near the Pennsylvania border, is a cool two-hour drive from 3rd Wave, which is way down in DelMar, along the Maryland state line.

Twin Lakes has announced plans to move, but for now, we're advertising today's matchup as a North-South Delaware battle!

North vs South.... Delaware

Twin Lakes epitomizes the culture and rich history of North Delaware with brews like Winterthur Wheat, Tweeds Tavern Stout and Caesar Rodney Golden Ale. 3rd Wave—with beers like Beach Juice, Shorebreak Pale Ale, and 2014 brewbracket champion Bombora Double IPA—is all about the laid-back, Southern Delaware lifestyle.
