Super 16: Rt. 113 IPA vs Hop Buggy Amber

Our Super 16 round is moving into the great state—OK, commonwealth—of Pennsylvania as we highlight two fine beers from the hinterlands west of Philadelphia. Rt. 113 IPA celebrates the semi-rural road heading through Chester County's Phoenixville, birthplace of The Blob and Sly Fox Brewery. This is a classic IPA with generous crystal malts balancing out a strong, floral hop bitterness. Over in neighboring Lancaster County, the hop buggy delivers oats, wheat and rye grown organically by Amish farmers and balanced by a pleasing hop spiciness.
