Welcome to the Round of 16 of the Odessa Brewfest brewbracket! We're only 8 contests away from the "Big Four" leading up to the championship. Today's matchup is pretty awesome, since the two brews going head to head have rock music connotations. Superfuzz has a serious Jimi Hendrix-Mitch Mitchell sort of vibe, and provides a delicious hoppy, citrusy kick. Back in Black, a really fine example of the dark IPA, takes a British beer style, makes it American in tribute to Paul Revere, then names it after an Australian rock band's most famous song. That's the kind of mash-up we like.
