Hy-Point Ice Cream Serves Up a Sweet Tradition at Brewfest

Delaware is full of history and tradition—and some of it is just plain delicious! Hy-Point Farms, family-owned in Wilmington since 1919, will be serving up its specialty ice cream at this year’s Odessa Brewfest.

Hy-Point manufactures and distributes milk, ice cream and other dairy products. Its oval-shaped seal is well-known to generations of Delaware schoolchildren—future craft beer aficionados—who remember opening a carton of Hy-Point chocolate milk in the cafeteria.

Hy-Point’s "Jammin' Jelly and Cup o' Joe Decadent Donut Delight" placed third in the Best Sundae on Sunday contest at the New Castle County Ice Cream Festival in June. While we can’t guarantee this particular creation will be on hand at Odessa, you can be sure all the flavors—like all the beers—will be top-notch.

So while you’re sampling delicious beers, as well as eating great food from Cantwell’s Tavern, the Roaming Raven food truck and Fromage a Cheese Boutique, don’t forget dessert!
