Pitting Brooklyn's Sixpoint against Maryland's Tall Tales in the opening round, we find two fan favorites battling to advance in Odessa Brewbracket.

Founded in 2004, Sixpoint combines global brewery influences and unbridled homebrew to create a unique spin on four, year round beer offerings from Blonde to IPA. They also have limited releases dictated by whim like a Coffee Blonde, as well as experimental small batches. But Tall Tales poses heavy competition for Sixpoint, living up to their name with beer "worthy enough to tell a legendary tale about." Tall Tales features an ever changing selection of custom brews and growlers, focusing on a sweet flavor and smooth finish. Their most popular brew, Red Headed Step Child, belies its darker Irish Red color with a sweet finish -- a mere sampling of the varied 13 custom brews they offer.

Who should advance? It's your vote.

Both breweries have a healthy selection of craft beers, ranging from ales to IPAs.
