Our first battle of the porters. Evolution Brewery's Lucky 7 vs. Flying Dog's Gonzo Imperial. Two very good beers here. Preliminary thoughts among the assembled cerevisaphiles: Gonzo complex. Lucky 7 would be great paired with food. Somebody get sushi. Each has its own charms; Lucky 7 more versatile; Gonzo richer, more of a specimen beer—like the man Hunter S. Thompson himself.
