The Friends of Delaware’s Gambrinus Statue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, whose mission is to restore the former Diamond State brewery’s 135-year-old King Gambrinus statue. The renovated statue will be donated to the Delaware Historical Society for long-term presentation and preservation.

King Gambrinus is the most significant artifact remaining from Wilmington’s Golden Age of Brewing. The statue serves as an apt symbol of the rebirth of the brewing industry in the First State as a key cultural, economic, and social driver.
